The Set Of 2D Points and Error Bars tasks can have trends (linear regression) applied to the data. The Preferences tool is used to set the trend type (none or linear).
If you need more control over trend curves then consider buying Graph IDE. Within Graph IDE trends are curve graphics and hence can be altered using the powerful capabilities of Graph IDE.
